A second life for the EV battery

When the battery capacity of the electric car is no longer sufficient for longer journeys, it can be replaced with a newer battery in better condition.

But why not use the old one to supply or back up electricity to your house? In combination with solar panels, a hybrid inverter and the 1PS BMS system, the battery is put under much less strain than in a vehicle, allowing it to extend its life considerably.

A drop in battery capacity to 80% is a problem for the owner of an electric vehicle, but for home use the stored energy density to cost ratio is still unbeatable.

The i3 Battery pack

We offer retrofitting your i3 battery with 1PS BMS or providing complete i3 battery storage with battery packs from our partners.

Each of our battery packs is thoroughly inspected and its parameters are measured upon receipt. We only offer fully functional used batteries with a SoH of no less than 80%. The price depends on the SoH and overall condition of the battery pack*.

1PS BMS

The original BMS system is removed from the battery and replaced with a 1PS BMS system that fits exactly in the original positions and allows the use of open communication protocols for accurate battery measurement and protection, contactor control and cell balancing.
